Version 2026-10-05
Purchasing is not open yet. The sections on payment, refunds and payouts describe how Dripple will work and will be finalised, with legal review, before checkout opens. We will ask you to accept the final version.
How buying works on Dripple, what you pay, and what happens to your payment.
The total shown at checkout is the total charged.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider using 3-D Secure where your bank supports it. Dripple keeps a reference to the payment, not your card details. After you pay, the money is held until the sale completes or is refunded; the seller is paid only after the inspection window ends or you accept the item.
If a payment fails or is declined, no order is created. If you are charged but no order appears, contact us and we will check with the provider and refund any duplicate.
If two people try to buy the same item, only the first confirmed payment succeeds. If you are charged for an item that turns out to be unavailable, you will be refunded in full.
An offer must be below the list price. When a seller accepts your offer, or you accept their counter-offer, you are committing to buy at that price and should pay promptly. Offers expire if not answered.
